BULOVA LUNAR PILOT - Time reinvented

Lunar Pilot Chronograph

On August 2, 1971, Bulova wrote space history:
When Apollo 15 landed on the moon, one of the astronauts wore a chronograph developed by Bulova's technicians specifically for the conditions on the moon. Now Bulova is once again making history with the Lunar Pilot special edition, updated with exclusive high-performance quartz technology to continue the history of accurate timekeeping.

  • Replica of the chronograph worn during the moon landing of the Apollo 15.
  • Powerful quartz technology with 262 kHz oscillation frequency for maximum precision - eight times higher than conventional watches.
  • 6-hand chronograph and luminescent hands
  • sapphire crystal
  • Tachymeter
  • Two interchangeable bracelets - one in textured black leather, one in black nylon with leather patch bearing the date of the moon landing.
  • A stainless steel wristband version is also available from selected specialist dealers.
  • Both models delivered in a presentation box with special collector's booklet and certificate of authenticity.
  • Water resistant up to 50 meters

  • Press push-piece A again to stop the timing
  • Press push button B to reset the chronograph.
